Work of art I would like to make
If chosen to be one of the 4 New Sensations I would like to continue working with my ideas relating to the falling and suspension of matters. I would ideally like to work more large scale with the objects and resulting images. I believe that the work would develop stronger when larger in scale as it would convey the occupation of the space far more coherently and support the realism of the image. Work would involve different and more creative materials in suspension that may appear in other environments, as well as air. Rather than studio based construction, I would like to venture outside and make work of a large scale in natural, urban and industrial environments, capturing the fullness of the surreal experience in familiar surroundings. |
