The work has recently developed from a drawing-based image making process to a more paint-led, more complex negotiation of the two-dimensional medium.
The initial stages of the painting are governed by a slap-dash attitude to mark-making, giving gesture and accident free-reign over the bones of the composition.

Work of art I would like to make
I would like to make a painting or group of paintings which I hope will offer a fresh and unusual view of what a landscape painting can be.
This work may be site-specific (painted outside in a landscape, or responding to the place where it will be displayed).
