Work of art I would like to make
Instead of proposing a piece of work which projects a vision of the world in the future I am putting forward the idea of a time capsule to be opened 25 years from now. In keeping with the way that I work I intend to produce a group of diverse artworks that articulate various aspects of the everyday in 2008. These could be shown under the title ‘Exhibition for 2033’ before being buried somewhere in London, with the intention of digging them up and showing them again when the time comes. Documentation of the production of these pieces and the entire process would form another piece of work that could be exhibited in the intervening years. |
