I like to paint and draw landscapes, mainly in acrylic on canvas. My most recent work has been fantasy themed, large scale, mystical paintings. These paintings have been based around a fantasy story I started writing while I was still in school, called the Pangea. My paintings are visual representations of the Pangea.

Work of art I would like to make
If I was chosen as one of the 4 New Sensations, I would like to continue the theme of my project from my Final Degree Show. The Pangean universe is a concept I hold very dear, it’s a story I’ve been writing since I was 14 and bringing this other world to life through painting and sculpture is something I feel very strongly about. I intend in the future to have a whole range of paintings depicting these different worlds in the Pangean universe, also capturing important events paramount to the stories that occur there. I also intend to make some more of the terrains of the Pangean realms, most likely featuring the fortress that features at the beginning of the story on a frozen world. I would even like to develop my world’s language much like J.R.R Tolkien’s, Elvish and make more of the “ancient manuscripts”. |
