Work of art I would like to make
I believe that my work is quite adaptable meaning the process I went through to produce the work in my degree show can be used to produce work in response to another set of buildings. I have always been a big fan of the South Bank centre especially the Hayward Gallery. The buildings are brilliant examples of Brutalist Architecture and the strong formidable forms and the way in which they trap light make it an obvious subject matter for me. I would to take image of sections that are of particular interest to me aesthetically. From these images I would then make drawings and collages breaking the image down into their essential forms and colours. |
