I have recently graduated from BA Fine Art at Leeds Met and am moving back to near London. My work is heavily influenced by and celebrates the unique aesthetics of Brutalist architecture of the 1960s and 70s. The pieces exploit the positivity of bold geometric shapes and the strict regularity of these buildings rather than their wilful avoidance of polish and elegance. These favoured characteristics have been explored through collage, from extrapolating their possibilities revised sculptural forms were realised.
