Work of art I would like to make
My next body of work will continue this enquiry into the painting process. I aim to continue to 'research through making' and deliberately keep my work in flux, maintaining a dialogue between Art history, personal experience and the painting process. Through challenging my own ideas of resolve and 'completion' I aim to make works which pose open ended questions rather than concrete statements, challenging myself and in turn the viewer to engage in an act of prolonged looking.
