Work of art I would like to make
As the world evolves so too does its cities and the societies that live within them, creating new and ever challenging design problems and solutions. With the population of the world ever increasing personal and public space is becoming a major issue and the strain on our already saturated cities is becoming ever apparent. Environmental, economic and social issues combined with the ever growing threat posed on our ‘mega’ cities by terrorist activity will force designers, planners and architects to produce solutions and preventions to problems that are at present only predictions.
I would like to use this competition to show what our cities and structures could look like in 25 years time if our paranoia, obsessions and greed get the better of us. Showing through abstract architecture how cities will function and how societies will interact within them.
