Since being a small child I have always been interested in people, colour, shape and textures. I am a confident artist who understands and appreciates artistic development. I have achieved a BA Hons Degree in Fashion. I am a creative energetic person who enjoys transforming my own inspired designs and ideas in to exciting pieces of work. My work develops from 2D imagery using a variety of media, drawing, paint, digital imagery and photography. My designs in fashion are then sculpted from these images. I see my clothes on the catwalk as unique pieces of art.

Work of art I would like to make
I am never afraid of a blank canvas and I always see the starting point as a challenge, like buying a travel ticket and not knowing where the journey will take me. Precipitation was the title of my final collection but I feel I am only part way through my energies. I would like the opportunity to push the boundaries of time and start where I left…Precipitation the Phenomena. Climate change is our new world we have to live in and I am working in response to these changes. I would like my piece of work to be sculptural using mixed media along with fabric. Applying all my artistic senses, design and create a piece of work that stops a moment in time with atmosphere of its very own. When I work I see no rules. |
