(31 years old. Born in United Kingdom. Lives in: London)
chelsea college of art and design

I have recantly graduated from chelsea college of art and design in london. My main works are animation. The animation is made of piles of drawings on paper and used only digital equipment to edit the piles of images. The film images have just few seconds and repeated besides they do not have any narrative meaning in the animation. That is the my way to represent the animation as a phenomenon which happen in front of us.

Work of art I would like to make

Through this creative activity, I would like to consider that what makes limitations and what possibilities are created from the inclusion of a line. It is worth pointing out that importance of “framing” leads us to find clarify our position of each other. The word “framing” this context will mean the same as ‘creating a limitation’. I prefer to use “framing” rather than “limitation”. This is because it can be easier to image of the actual action of creating limitation.
Especially, for the degree show, I am interested in the frames in comic books among other kinds of frames. The Manga has limitation of size and materials. Although frames are physical limitation to show images they are used to represent and organise stories on papers.
In this work, there is only one animation projected on the wall and each image does not have clear relationship. However, the images are chosen randomly from my drawings black frames of the back stuck on the wall indicate the audience to create relationship between each frame. I would try to represent the fact one big image comes up to the audience as a number of images divided by frames.
