Work of art I would like to make
I would like to develop this installation further by investigating adults twenty five years on from their struggle through an abusive childhood to show how abuse does not just affect the child at that particular time but his /her whole life. Through emotional problems to physical problems, it is something that we as adults turn a blind eye to and it is a worldwide problem that shouldn't be be brushed under the carpet. I would like to do this by pricking the viewers subconscious , as I did with the project I am submitting, making them think about what they have seen. Covering subjects from a variety of ethnic backgrounds, which would hopefully touch upon the fact that it is a global problem and not just something that happens at home. |
