Work of art I would like to make
certainly I will continue to make work both small and large that reflects my current preoccupation with pattern in the natural world placed off of the imposition of a machine. However lately I have been planning a series of modest images based around specific colors very simple color senses like Green, Orange, etc.. layered in glazed paints so that they can be looked at and into. a series of paintings that harmonically work off of each other but can also stand alone. Of course once things get going all bets are off beyond the work itself! A Painting like my degree shows" Pratt man doo" was totally unplanned until a week before the final show. so what I am saying is the situation often determines the outcome as much as the concept. |
