Work of art I would like to make
If chosen as one of the finalists I would like to create a series of paintings that concentrate on painting aspects of society that will not necissarily exist in 25 years time. I would like to make responses to photographs that are selected because the moments depicted in them would display and comment on contemporary British society. In twenty five years time these works would evoke nostalgia and memories of things lost. When viewed in contemporary society I would like to make the viewer consider the future and his/her part in it.
