Work of art I would like to make
If chosen as one of the 4 New Sensations then I would like to make a piece of jewellery that represents my interpretation of how the world could look at this point in time if we keep consuming as much as we do at the moment. I am imagining a mass of debris and rubble and hidden beneath it all are the remains of precious objects belonging to the people who once walked here. So my piece would consist of preciuos metal which has been cast into a decayed/non-precious looking form with glistening stones pertruding through small gaps in the piece (the stones being the remains of the life before it).
P.S I have only found out about this competition about an hour ago so havn't been able to upload all my images. Hope this is enough for you to go on Thank You Laurie
