My work centers around the urban space and the exploration of social/ physical changes around me. Using photography and sculpture and video in the making of my works, I use the existing space or material as a starting point. Work of art I would like to make

Given the possibility to carry out a funded project I would like to extend my experience gained through my Degree Project.
i would like to make use of a selection of photographs which I have sourced several months ago. These are photographs (mainly snapshots and family album images) that I bought in various shops/ markets in London and which show street scenes in East London. These images originate from as early as the 1950 until today.
I will investigate the locations where these images were made. I will then extract elements from these photographs and print them at life-size. Mounted on boards these (2 dimensional) props will then be placed in the urban space and the resulting installations will be photographed. (See image)
These boards could also be left in place for a certain period of time and form a street installation with reference to the site's history.
