Work of art I would like to make
My proposal would involve building a rectangular structure placed within the middle of the gallery space which will be suspended to look as if it floats. Its walls would be covered with specially designed cardboard panels cut with a geometric pattern running through them. The interior of the structure will be brightly lit and at its centre a sculptural work will be placed. Outside of this the surrounding gallery space will remain dark. By combining bio-morphic forms with the geometricity of arhitecture I hope to present a kind of futuristic vision of what our architectural interior environments will be like in future years to come.
