coming from a working class family that have never even been to college and are concerned only with getting a job getting married and having babies i am often looked at as the outsider of the family being an art graduate and gay. My work responds to this by looking at family interactions, dysfunctions, and human emotions.

I would like to continue to research this theme. Looking at families across time, my past family generations and seeing if there is a link between them and whether the family unit is becoming more dysfunctional as time goes on.
