CRAM is a unique Centre for art research and production in the whole Piana Rotaliana and Unterland (Autonomous Region Trentino/Südtirol, Italy), at the confluence of the valleys of Fiemme, Fassa, Adige, Non and Sole, located in the 'Val de la Vila', near the Domus Giontec, one of the most important archeological sites of the entire Via Claudia Augusta (the ancient Roman road connecting Augsburg/Augusta, Germany with Ostiglia, Mantua, Italy). The Centre, which name derives from the ancient celtic/germanic word Cårn-Crån (prelatin 'crona', that means castle inside a rockspear - we can also found this word in the name Mezzocorona/Kronmetz), wants to be a crucial point for art condivision and production. Cram will offer different cultural proposals: visual art, music, theatre and performance. In order to do that, Cram will organize exhibitions, events, happenings but also a teaching activity, with lessons and workshops, following different targets (children, students, artists, cultural professionists).
