上海大学美术学院

上海大学美术学院，前身为1960年刘海粟先生创建的上海美术专科学校，内设本科、预科。1983年并入上海大学，定名为上海大学美术学院，是上海地区唯一的一所多学科综合性高等美术学府。

Our Aims
在办学过程中，江泽民同志及国家、市委、市府领导都曾到学院视察指导，勉励学院成为“艺术家的摇篮”，“真善美”的创造者、传播者。发扬“上海美专精神”，为造就海派艺术领域的一代大师为目标，真正把学院建成研究型的综合性美术学院。

Department and information about the department
学院设有艺术设计、绘画（国画、油画、版画）、雕塑、美术学、建筑学和会展艺术与技术等专业，招收全日制博士、硕士学位研究生、本科生（包括港澳台及外国留学生）。另设有成人教育部、研究生课程班和中专部，分别招收在职学生和初中毕业生。学院现有各类学生2800余人。学院设有美术创作研究所、计算机美术设计中心、美术展览中心、蔡冠深国际远程艺术交流中心、精品典藏室、精品资料室及公共艺术实验中心。其中公共艺术实验中心下设版画工作室、陶瓷工作室、玻璃工作室、多媒体工作室、综合材料造型工作室等，并在法国巴黎国际艺术城建立专业教师工作室，为师生开展教学、科研、创作提供了良好条件。

学院现有教职工190名，其中正、副教授56名，还聘请了一批国内外知名的艺术家、设计家兼职任教。学院设有美术创作研究所、计算机美术设计中心、美术展览中心、蔡冠深国际远程艺术交流中心、精品典藏室、精品资料室及公共艺术实验中心。其中公共艺术实验中心下设版画工作室、陶瓷工作室、玻璃工作室、多媒体工作室、综合材料造型工作室等，并在法国巴黎国际艺术城建立专业教师工作室，为师生开展教学、科研、创作提供了良好条件。

21世纪上海的高等美术教育、信息的传递、获取、多向反馈，特别重要。美院历来重视国内外交流，以办学的成效、师生创作向外释放能量，传播中国文化艺术，呜其友声，共同发展中国的美术教育事业。先后与日本、英国、美国等国家的艺术院校建立了长期的艺术家交流与互访关系，举办各类师生艺术作品展，并互派师生考察交流，举办各种学术交流讲座。

美院接受社会成功人士和企业的助学、奖学捐助，作为培养学生，激励创新的教学辅助手段。观己建立蔡冠深国际远程艺术交流中心，设立以美国CA有限公司董事长王嘉廉命名的王嘉廉美术奖学全。
