| Charles Sturt University - VPA
The Charles Sturt University School of Visual and Performing Arts fosters an environment of innovation, creativity and critical thinking in teaching, research and professional practice so as to enhance society and culture.
The School boasts outstanding facilities with Acting for Screen & Stage, and Design for Theatre & Television accessing the University’s Riverina Playhouse, a 250 seat purpose built theatre for public performance, situated in the heart of the City of Wagga Wagga. Acting students also have the opportunity to perform in the School’s intimate studio theatre and to collaborate with students in Design for Theatre & Television and Television Production on a number of projects annually.
Television Production students have access to broadcast quality equipment including a fully operational television studio and edit suites. Students enrolled in this program are supported by a number of industry Internships and Scholarships.

The Gallery is part of the School of Visual and Performing Arts (SVPA) and contributes to the schools’ educational program for its past and present students, and the Riverina community. The HR Gallop Gallery supports students, staff and artists by providing a non-commercial exhibition venue with a diverse program of art forms and subject matter.
Location: Building 21, Boorooma Avenue , Charles Sturt University , Wagga Wagga. For directions, download a campus map here

* Applying for Bachelor of Arts (Acting for Screen and Stage) - Application through UAC with compulsory audition/interview held in late November in Wagga.
* Applying for other SVPA courses - year 12 applicants need to apply through UAC and are selected on the basis of their UAI. Other applicants, and those wishing to supplement their UAI, should request an interview on the form below, and/or provide a portfolio. Interviews are held in person in Wagga or by telephone in November/December, or earlier by prior arrangement.
