Information For International Students - Sarah Lawrence
http://www.slc.edu/index.php?pageID=2144
Sarah Lawrence is an expansive community whose members recognize the intellectual and creative benefits of multinational perspective. Almost 10 percent of the student body comes to the College from countries other than the United States. The Sarah Lawrence community provides international scholars a comfortable residential experience; the campus’s proximity to New York City allows convenient access to tremendous cultural and recreational resources.
Applicants for whom English is not the native language should take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 100 (Internet-based) are the minimum acceptable scores for application review. Students for whom time or distance creates a hardship in supplying these results may request an extension.
All application essays and recommendations must be written in English. Transcripts must be translated to English by a professional translation agency.
Please follow the instructions for either a first-year or a transfer application. Limited, need-based financial aid is available to international students (holders of non-U.S. passports).
