Student Facilities - South Australian School of Art

Kaurna (K) Building

Kaurna Building is shared between the South Australian School of Art and the Louis Laybourne Smith School of Architecture and Design. The ground floor (or Level 2) houses the School of Art Gallery and Foundation Studios for Visual Art and Visual Communication students and the Architecture Archive. The School of Art and School of Architecture administration and staff office enclaves are on the floor above, Level 3.

The Visual Communication studios, Visual Communications Consultancy and staff offices are on the next floor, level 4, along with the School of Art and Architecture's joint research enclave for staff and postgraduate students.
Dorrit Black (DB) Building

The South Australian School of Art workshop is located on the ground floor (Level 3) along with the Louis Laybourne Smith School of Architecture and Design workshop. The Sculpture and Installation and Glass and Ceramics staff offices and studios are co-located on Level 4, with the Textiles, Printmaking, Jewellery and Metal staff offices and studios on Level 5. Level 6 houses both the Photography and Drawing studios along with staff offices. The Painting studios are on both Levels 6 and 7 with staff offices and a roof deck located on Level 7 at the top of the building.
Barbara Hanrahan (BH) Building

The specialist computer pools managed by the School of Art and the School of Architecture are located on Level 4 of the Barbara Hanrahan Building.
Liverpool Street studios

This building houses the studios of the research degree candidates and the Liverpool Street Gallery.
