Beginning in Fall 2005, the School of Art+Design launched a new series of contemporary artists' projects in its Richard & Dolly Maass Gallery made possible by a generous grant from David and Jeanne Schwarz. Our current exhibition, “INFOBABBLE,” exposes artists' responses to the media barrage of the 21st century. Featuring creators from the worlds of fine art, graffiti, photography, film and advertising, DSP 6 explores how contemporary artists find a voice in the melee; be it through subversion, parody, political action or direct intervention. Purchase College has announced an exchange program with Universidad Iberoamericano in Mexico City. In addition to an exchange program in graphic design, a dual degree diploma will soon be offered by the two institutions.
