What happened to the interesting people

The debates on this forum used to be interesting art topics debated by interesting people; just look at the debates earlier on this page and see what I mean. Where are you, interesting people? Dont let idiots dumb this site down to their level

By Phil

Dont make me laugh Phil, sure a limited few, but christ get a life, interesting prey tell, your view on interesting please.

Phil, when was the last time you did anything moderatly interesting. Is it a dinner party to discuss Duchamps Urinal, or Rauchenburg, or Lester Valquez, charlie Summarand, or quote the oxford dictionary, see things that do not exsist in a painting eh tell me Phil.

When was the last time you ripped off all your clothes, mooned at your neighbours or stuck a lighted firecracker up your ass, well I did last week!

When was the last time you made passionate love in the morning rain with next doors Alsation, well I did last week.

What did you do last week Phil!!!

By santana

Oh Santana! you are WILD! When I finally do come to UK I will have to party down with you! I'll bring my Diva clothes and disco heels.

All the interesting people? there is only one. Manalien. Since I showed up all the personas he used to discuss art with have morphed into a manned 50 headed beast right out of the book of Revelation. Garbling and arguing with himself under assumed identitys. Maybe when they all calm down a bit they will once again discuss art. Right now they are all on a tear because I accused him of lusting for the breasts of 400 pound American trailer women. LOL!

By sisterraya

I'm beginning to agree with Phil.

By fbc-art

I agree with Phil. Just that sisteray woman and santana back and forth back and forth. nonsense.

By boydrice

there was a general attack on "intellectuaism" and the "system" then hagheid left. not one wieghty conversation since

By nowhereman

0where
I 'suspect' that the bastard hagheid may be lurking hereabouts?

By Jon Dowding

Bring it on Jon.!

By nowhereman

and when will you be leaving Nowhere? guess you are not interesting enough huh?

By sisterraya

People are always so boring when they band together. You have to be alone to develop all the idiosyncrasies that make a person interesting.

By nowhereman

Or just have led some sort of life and have varied interests.....
I hate to say it, but people who've had something really shit happen to them in life also seem to have a much broader and brighter view about things.

By pauloz

This question is obviously based on the assumption that others might find the same people interesting which is evidence of a purely subjective consciousness.

By The Dude

Phil I agree with you and I know what you mean. I would like to find forum where I would feel all right, but no luck till now. Hope you will see this post, greetings from Zg .

By tisa2

I've met some singer with a parrot, such a beauty- black girl with a white parrot, never seen people like this coming to openings

By nicolas

Sis, how lovely to see you.
Pauloz, you too, and you are right, despite all the shit I have experienced in life, the world still seems a bright and beautiful place.
Santana, your revelations are not as exciting as mine, but they do seem fun.

Sis, manal ien is back, had you not noticed the headlines in the blogs in recent weeks, and the howls of protests on an hourly basis in the chatroom to ban him again.

Nicolas, the manalien is not black, but also has a parrot on his shoulder.

Look sis, i am sure this is the work of m-a-n-a-l ien

saatchi-gallery.co.uk/showdown/index.php?showpic=17007

now all of you give it ten, and the most interesting guy in these forums might just get to exhibit the work in the new saatchi gallery, come on all rally round.

The demise of the Alien.

Whilst he would never admit to being the most interesting person, as he considered that he bored himself to death, he 'was' a fascinating person. He was much maligned and accused of many things he did not do here and in chat, but you all are so naieve you just could not see the truth, that all the attacks he was accused of were made by his impostoring stalker, caught by the po-lice in July 2007.

My name is Brian D from poole in dorset. He was one of the best friends that I have ever known, full of love, compassion and empathy. I had known him for just over ten years, and in that time he saved my life and helped me walk towards a future i despaired i could ever have.

I will sorely miss my friend the Alien, who passed away yesterday afternoon. He took his own life in a most extraordinary fashion. Besides the parrots he so adored, he also kept tropical and marine fish. He wanted a quick way out and researched the subject of an easy suicide thoroughly. He discussed it with me about six months ago, but I did not realise he was serious. He took the liver of a puffer fish, which contains one of the deadliest neurotoxins on the planet, ate it and that was his end. A horrible but very quick end. I doubt any of you can imagine how I, and indeed his long term partner are feeling right now, but i thought that you all deserved to know.

You all used to make the most nasty comments of his art. I leave you with this, the last piece he ever made:-

christopherjohnhobby.multiply.com/photos/photo/89/20

Please do not send flowers, he would have preferred a donation made to the World Parrot Trust.

And you were wrong about his showdown entry, it is this

now that would be innerestin'

By mickeymouse

a rod stewart fan how sad and very uninteresting .
but phil dont give up post an interesting question and just ignore the irelivent attention seekers, there are still some interesting people and views out here

By eek

Or so you'd like to think, Eek. In reality what really happens here is that people with some interesting thoughts who like a good debate have their posts swamped with garbage and end up being dragged into the same cyber-soup of bitchiness and negativity.

Even I, a self-confessed artistic genius and on-the-bog philosopher of no small merit have, at times been reduced to scoring points of low brows like Jimmy x 10 (cm) just to prove myself his intellectual superior. Unfortunately all I've established this way is to make known that I have three O levels and a budgerigar.

By ...

I have always thought that I am not interesting, as a modest person with much to be modest about, Peeps say to me you are wrong, you are indeed a book of colour,a magician who can conjure up thoughts on a whim, you do cause chaos at times but that is your own persona coming thru! keep colouring that special book of yours, with that glint of hope always in your eye and that permanant smile ethched on your welcoming face, you are interesting for those that find you so, and not so for those that dont! just lend them that dont your amazing array of colour sticks so that they may practise upon the granite grey of there exsistance, and perhaps one day they will find that true, uncalculating talent that dazzels, ans beguiles the many, Oh so many facets of your everyday life!!!
