Work of art I would like to make

The 4 is viciously pierced with shards of glass. Shock therapy. Self harm. Oxymoron or placebo�s for morons? A macebo maybe? Without pain would pleasure hold such relish? Mutilation is the practice of being. The proving of one�s existence against the numb conformity of routine. An expression of self to ones self to redeem thyself. Venting the pain within or turmoil made manifest, worn under ones sleeve? Scarring, piercing, inking the skin with needles, staining the flesh for life. Letting the blood flow through blood letting. Have a butchers hook at me hanging from butchers hooks. Is it the done thing because it�s the thing to be done? Has it become the conformity of the self proclaimed non-conformist? Is it culture for the vulture or the respectable spectacle for the lackers of self-respect? Horror or hoary old clich�. S&M or M&S? Slashing and cutting like a butcher at delicatessen counter. Branding and marking like one more of the herd. My how we all suffer. Our innermost fears raised and raw for all to see like a label. A label that screams �my pain boileth over�. Suffer in silence, but not without the vivid testament of a slashing blade. It goes deeper than that, but like beauty, never more than skin deep.
