CONGRATULATIONS TO STUART ARTISTS IN NEW SENSATIONS EXHIBITION AND SAATCHI ONLINE ARTISTS AT ZOO ART FAIR

Congratulations to all the Saatchi Online and STUART artists exhibiting their work in London during 'Frieze' week. The 4 New Sensations exhibition at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane has been a huge success with over 600 people attending the opening night, hundreds of people visiting the show during the week and many people voting at the show for their favourite artist out of the 4 finalists. Several artists have already sold work from the show and have also been approached by galleries to exhibit their work. The Saatchi Online exhibition at Zoo has also been very popular - we have made sales on behalf of the artists in the show and several artists have also been approached by galleries interested in representing their work. Many artists visiting the exhibition were excited by the website and are going to be uploading their work, and we were able to introduce Saatchi Online to a lot of international curators and collectors who weren't aware of it before.

SAATCHI ONLINE AT ZOO ART FAIR

This is the first time that we have shown the work of Saatchi Online at an art fair. Twenty artists chosen from the weekly Critic's Picks on Saatchi Online's daily magazine were invited to exhibit their work at the art fair in London. The work represented that range of work registered on Saatchi Online and we had fantastically positive feedback about the concept of Saatchi Online and the standard of the work in the Saatchi Online exhibition. All the work at the exhibition was for sale on a non-commission basis. The BBC filmed the exhibition for a forthcoming programme about the art world presented by Alan Yentob. The programme will go out on BBC1 in November. Artnet are also going to be running an article about Zoo Art Fair and the Saatchi Online exhibition.

Works by the following artists were sold at the exhibition: John Burke, Robin Cracknell, Robert Szot, Ursula Sokolowska, Oliver Clegg, Caron Geary, Catarina Lira Pereira, Cecelia Post and Nicole Morris.

Edgar Martins has been approached by the Paul Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles about exhibiting his work there and by Timothy Taylor gallery in London.

Ursula Sokolowska has been approached by a gallery in Spain about showing her work there.

Oliver Clegg has been approached by a gallery in Spain about showing her work there.

Caron Geary has been offered a solo show at a gallery in Spain.

Paul Hazelton has been approached by a London gallery about representing his work.

Alastair Bailey has been approached by a gallery in Texas about representing his work.

Monika Bielskyte has been invited to have a solo show at FOAM, the photography museum in Amsterdam next year.

Selfridges have expressed interest in the work of Kelly Gardner for a new project they are launching next year to have artists' work in their windows. A gallery in New York is also going to be contacting Kelly Gardner about her work.

A new gallery in Paris is interested in representing John Burke.

A foundation for contemporary art in Spain has expressed interest in Robin Cracknell's work.

We have also been approached by an independent curator to do further Saatchi Online exhibitions and by Art Chicago to do a Saatchi Online exhibition at this art fair in the US next year. We are also pursuing taking Saatchi Online artists to a fair in New York in 2008. We hope to be able to provide further information about these possible events very soon.
