Submissions are reviewed independently, anonymously and without visual support material—they are evaluated solely on the strength of the idea. No mountain too high, no river too deep!

SCULPTURE PERMUTATIONS
http://www.WWW.SCULPTURE-PERMUTATIONS.COM
|
|
Deadline 01.03.2009
The interactive sculpture project “Sculpture-Permutations” invites figurative and abstract sculptors .This no-profit and self-financed project is based on contact and collaboration between artists of various countries.
The goal of the project is to create a sculpture that is combinable with other sculptures. This sculpture is made of three parts which can be taken apart and recombined to the three parts of other sculptures. This will create another sculpture. Different combinations can be achieved through the congruence of each part with its counter part.
The permutation process is a creative process and at the same time a logical one. Each artist, without the possibility to control the piece of art, makes his contribution and participates to this experiment. The result can not be predicted, and is simply the sum of many elements.
The main idea of this work is to share, so we are inviting sculptors that are interested in this project to participate. The website
WWW.SCULPTURE-PERMUTATIONS.COM
will become the studio and the showcase of the project. The results of the initiators’ first edition of the Permutation-Project are visible on the same website.

Seeking Major Sponsor for Communal Artspace
http://www.jstraight.org
|
|
AMEN, Association to Empower the Needy, is seeking a major sponsor for its Communal Artspace; there are so many talented artists in Jerusalem in whom Art's Fire burns unseen by those who should but won't welcome them in a space wherein to materialize their vision.
AMEN's center will GW provide, besides space, art materials, tools and even food and wine for those artists who can't come up with their own, then promote the results and help them reach freedom from want, a prerequisite for excellence.
To do this it takes money, and I, as a social artist, activist and entrepreneur have not yet found a common language with foundations and the like, so I am looking for, besides the aforementioned sponsor(s), someone capable of bridging the gap, in exchange for substantial negotiable benefits and the satisfaction to have prevented up to a hundred potential suicides, divorces or plunges into mental disease, a hazard common in Art's so many marginalized by poverty but unable to give it up for a MacJob children (no age limit!).
Please google my name &/or 'pizzarebbe', try some of the links below, especially the Picnic video, then connect with me if you are willing to earn a share in this plan which will eventually deliver amazing financial returns to, and unestimable benefits to society at large.
With my warmest greetings and Season's Wishes,
Eliahu Gal-Or - The Pizza Rebbe:
