STUTTER AT TATE MODERN, LONDON
Tate Modern's current show 'Stutter' encompasses a wide range of artistic practices that incorporate repetition and interruption in order to convey meaning, whether through language, gesture, sound or images. This documentary looks at at the work of international emerging artists and their interpretations of the connections between thought, language and art. It includes interviews with up and coming London artist Anna Barham and curator Vannessa Desclaux. The exhibition is on until 16 August.

A really nice introduction to the exhibition, I was there for the Futurism show yesterday and missed this entirely, which I rather regret.

This video provides a great deal of clarity on what can sometimes be a complicated subject - modern art. Relating the idea of repetition to the everyday, particularly using familiar situations/ surroundings was especially effective. Great work!

Right - agree with all the above - this is exactly what all exhibitions need. It whets the appetite, you can go in informed without being overwhelmed, and you can impress your date with sentences beginning "what the artist was probably trying to do ..." Three minutes of tasters is much more useful than the newspaper's preview pages. Hope to see more exhibitors take up this initiative.

A very informative, culturally enlightening and impressive short film. I look forward to seeing more thought provoking films by director Tomi Isaacs and narrator Nina Bigalke in the future. An enjoyable and well spent 3 minutes of time!

Perfect visual balance between showing the talker and the art works. Nice panning and editing throughout that created an exciting exploration of the artists work. Crucially this video makes me want to see the exhabition without giving too much away. Excellent work.

I really enjoyed this documentary produced by Tomi Isaacs and Nina Bigalke. It was very crispy whilst still packed with multiple thought-provoking views on stuttering. I especially liked the presenter's end summary which nicely connected the importance of stuttering to art and to everyday conversations alike. Well done! I'll await the next one.
