It is interesting that so much Post-Modern art is cartoonish. In traditional cartoons the artist shares a joke with the viewer. With this work the joke is on the viewer. Confused, unstructured, and expressing a lack of purpose and meaning. Pile on paint-add big craft eyes. -done.

I am a fan of Butzers' paintings, they have the elements of expressionism, but with a contemporary twist. I have just watched the Pollock video, and it all seems to work together, both in terms of historical references, and generally being enjoyable work to look at
