Hello:

If you are in Italy, I invite you to attend one or more
exhibits within Box Shock, a contemporary art event I
direct in Milano, Sesto San Giovanni and Monza. Self
Storage rooms in a temporary labyrinth, MindCubes in
8 different design and gallery spaces, ContainerArt
containers and MindTotems on the streets, MindAltars
at the Triennale Bovisa. All these devices meant to
enhance the aesthetic experience of about 80
installations from national and international artists
chosen in collaboration with four curators.

Box Shock introduces a series of experiments meant
to influence contemporary museology. Short of
experiencing all this for yourself, I recommend
checking out a few pictures at the event blog
(www.boxshock.org) since some exhibits are already
in progress . Next opening event is today at the gallery
Anzitempo, Via Savona 4 Milano. More openings on
Thursday at Leo Gallery in Monza, and Friday at Step,
the contemporary art Fair at East End Studios in Via
Mecenate . Next week openings and events include
one on the 14th at MC2 Gallery in Milano and one at
the Triennale Bovisa on the 16th . Do not miss the
main event : the Museum-labyrinth on October
17th in Via San Maurizio al Lambro. Sesto San
Giovanni.
