基本思想: I realize now that the "halos" shift once they cross that divide. Still, that could happen without the actual separation there, but I don't think it would be as effective. Fascinating.
Thank you for you opinion, I really apreciatte that even with such a poor picture you get the point, even if the dots follow the same range of colours in both parts, the background is different in each part, making the colours mix in the eye of the viewer in a different way, thats why the "shift".
基本思想: What I find amazing is how necessary it seems to be that this is a dyptich. I don't know why that line between the two surfaces is so satisfying, but it is. It would not be the same painting without it. This is not to take away from the power of the image itself. Not at all. I'm just saying that it is mysteriously enhanced by that divide.
基本思想: no doubt demanded a certain amount of patience and possibly a little self-kick up the ass every now and then to get it done but the result is really quite spectacular - very organic - reminiscent of some kind of absorption mechanism within the body - requires a little imagination here to scale it up to original size - i suspect it has the wow factor when seen in all it's glory
"self-kick up the ass every now and then to get it done" is just the way to define the work as there circa 25.000 paintdrops in it, i'm afraid you know what we are talking about seeing your fantastic "nails" works.
