Art work Description:
George Ward Tjungurrayi was born in the area of Kiwirrkurrain in the Gibson Desert c. 1945. He commenced painting for Papunya Tula Artists in about 1976. Tingari - George’s dreaming of Karrkurritinytja centres around the journey of a family including men and women, old and young, children and their dogs, across the country from Kulkutta rockhole to Karrkurritinytja, also known as Lake McDonald.
