| Excellent condition. Good Margins. Printed on white wove paper. A beautiful, and large, interpretation of Mount San Jacinto, near Palm Springs, in Southern California. In this lithograph the artist has chosen to minimize and abstract this impressive mountain chain that rises to above 10,000 feet. Day was a remarkable artist who, apparently, spent only a few years in the late 1920s and early 1930s producing lithographs. Richard Day was a well-known art director in Hollywood and probably found it difficult to continue creating prints and also carry on a lucrative and busy career.
