| In another of his sweeping landscapes of the Li River region in Guangxi Provence, this time, Shen has produced a work with deep, darker colors. The piece is dominated by the greens of the mountains, mirrored in their reflections on the water, bordered by the light blues of the sky, above and below. These are not the same mountains seen in another of his scenes from the Li River but are lower, more overgrown, softer, and broader, giving it a more inviting sheltering look. The contrast between the size of the large houseboat chugging along the river, however, does make us aware that these mountains are not too small. The price, shown, includes shipping for the canvas, dismantled, and rolled inside a tube.
