Art work Description:
My work is very Scottish in nature, in that it is bold, colourful, and full of contrasts and contradictions, with rich, vibrant colours depicting the feeling and energy of the image I am painting. I always try and paint exactly what the scene looked like, and try to add the feeling of what it was like to be there on that day, at that time of the year in that weather. However, the painting is also as much about myself as about a particular place
