Art work Description:
The public intervention Uterus Flags, is a group of 72 flags in different colors, bearing the siluete of the femail sexual organs; the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries and vagina. The work is inspired by party- and folk flags for private and public events and by heraldry. The work celebrates femininity and the female and uses methods and strategies of conceptual- and situationist art by leaving the exhibition space and interviening in the realm of the street.
