Art work Description:
A book written and illustrated in the 1960s in the signature “boy’s own” style, titled EyeSpy Manual, is the basis of this new work. It comprises the silhouetted figure of a lone child, sitting on the grass lost in his thoughts. The figure was taken from a scene in the manual of children playing, but the boy is left out of the game, to ponder his relevance in an increasingly complicated and difficult world.
