Art work Description:
These two works from the ‘studio series’ depict the process of making and finding. The text reads as a commentary on the alchemical nature of creating ‘something’ out of ‘nothing’. A figure working on the bare bones of the text is dwarfed by the enormity of the task at hand. White-on-white blurs the edges of the environment lending a positive feel to the proceedings and belies the inherent difficulties and frustrations in producing the work. Nick Devlin 2006
