Sergey Savelyev, geophysicist, the University of York (Toronto, Kanada). Сергей Савельев, геофизик, Университет Йорк (Торонто, Канада) "Это - "Сторожевой цветок". Три года назад мы делали эксперимент по изучению метелей на севере Канады - на берегу Гудзонова залива. По ночам небо рисовало для нас раскошные цветы северных сияний. Их очертания, перемещаясь, менялись каждые десять минут. Иногда казалось, что грациозные линии сияния тянутся к нам, как будто пытаясь защитить (или прося защиты?) от чего-то недоброго..."
