colette first opened its doors in March 1997 situated along 213 rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. With the aim of re-inventing the concept of retail, the brand adopted the tagline "styledesignartfood" to its 700+ square-meter space. The colette world is one of constant unexpectedness and surprise. A spontaneous, unique and entertaining mix of influences and inspiration from around the world. A world spanning three-levels where hi-tech meets fashion. Art blends with streetwear. Books are teamed with music. Beauty compliments design objects and cinema is screened whilst people meet, greet and eat in the downstairs water bar.
Upstairs in our gallery you'll find an exhibition every month. Ranging from photography to graphic design, video installations, graffiti, both solo and group shows by young unknown artists and established heroes amid the art world today. Icons of the contemporary art scene or simply forgotten artists from yesteryear, colette knows no limit in its agenda.
