A private gallery owned by Adéle Otto and located in Bloemfontein,the capital of central South Africa.
Adéle was born in Welkom, a South African gold mining town in the Northern Free State, but grew up in the picturesque Boland which is situated in the world renowned Cape Province. She however has been living in Bloemfontein, a city in the Free State, for the past 35 years where she owns a gallery.
She has distinguished herself in various art forms such as woodcarving, pottery, clothing design, amongst other art forms and started painting in 1989. She always had an inherent passion for painting and knew it required a lot of skill, knowledge and intensive study, which lead her on a journey of self-tuition. She sourced Art Literature from all over the world which she has been studying ever since. She also attended numerous art workshops including ‘knife painting’ in Paris, France in the 90’s.Her acquisition of numerous art literature and books over the years has resulted in her now holding a vast library of International Art Literature in her gallery which would be the envy of most artists.
