Headed by Céline Brugnon and Marie-Céline Somolo, La B.A.N.K boasts an excellent location in Paris, Le Marais- not far from Le Centre Pompidou and the Musée des Arts et Métiers, in a dynamic and inspiring neighborhood that is home to a slew of upcoming galleries. Since its opening in September 2005, this space dedicated to contemporary art has maintained a very global outlook, showing the work of French artists as well as artists from all over the world : Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, USA, Belgium, England, South America... Specializing in thematic exhibitions by very engaged artists (Black Panther Party for self-defense, Domination, Sécurité minimum...), La B.A.N.K's two story space houses an eclectic selection of work ranging from film animation to drawings and paintings, photographs, video projections, and installations.
