VAN HORN started as an artist space with an exhibition of the underground-cartoonist Robert Crumb, followed by the blackboard-drawings of Rudolf Steiner. Thereupon the gallery was founded in Dusseldorf in 2005/06. The gallery mixes particular historical with contemporary positions. In Dusseldorf VAN HORN presents solely very personally and precisely selected solo-exhibitions of international artists
