Art project and gallery of "Strontium-90" Art Group. In 1990 the artistic association "Strontium-90" was founded in Kyiv, Ukraine by a group of independent artists concerned with social and ecological issues. SHELTER presents leading artist of tralfrealism from Ukraine and other countries. The creative work of the "Strontium-90" artists conveys our bond with the vast essence of our Ego, and mirrors images and events from various planes of existence.

Kiev artists Valeiy GOLEIKO, Tania CHEBROVA, Alexey BREUS are founder and leader of eco art tralfrealism international movement. Emin ASKEROV, Rashad BABAYEV (Azerbajan), Tatyana GAIDUK (Ukraine), Victor ZHUK (Czech Republic), Gennadiy OMELCHENKO (Russia), Vadim FAINGOLD (USA), Selina GUROK (Germany), and others are amongn followers of tralfrealism. In accordance with their manifest and by means of their creative spirit, member artists of "Strontium-90" challenge us to understand and appreciate the world around us not only through our senses and minds, but to employ our hearts above all. Their plea is especially relevant in the wake of the Chernobyl Disaster, which compels us to alter our conscience by confronting society's penchant for self-destruction.

Strontium-90's first exhibit opened in Kiev on 26 April 1991- the fifth anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. Since then, "Strontium-90" has organized other exhibits and events such as "Feedback," "MEGHASANDESHAM" (Message Through the Clouds), "Universe: Open Contact," "Sky. Ocean. Land," "Pilgrims of the Universe," and many others. The group has also conducted a number of actions within the framework of the project "Chernobyl. Between the "Past and the Future" devoted to the 20th anniversary of nuclear disaster.

We are glad to introduce the works of artists-tralfrealists from Ukraine, Russia, Germany, the USA, etc.
Realization of this project became possible thanks to longstanding friendship and co-operation with leading artists and founders, actually, of tralfrealism Valeriy (Ven) GOLEIKO, Tania (Ta) CHEBROVA and Alexey (Les) BREUS.
We hope, that our joint co-operation will give an opportunity of getting unforgettable impressions from meeting with tralfrealism to the admirers of this school of arts.
Chernobyl disaster induces to soul-searching, to reconsider comprehension of the universe, our values and a place of the person in the world. Just peculiarities of world view and values system determine different cultures of various epochs and regions, for example, the culture of the West and the Orient, the culture of the Ancient World or the present-day culture. Chernobyl has affected the key cultural aspects, therefore we probably undergo a turning point in the history. It is obvious that art cannot stand aside this process.
