| Luciana Matalon Museum Foundation
The Foundation, located in the historical center of Milan next to the Sforzesco Castle, was opened in 2000 by artist Luciana Matalon in order to create an international crossroads of new ideas and to offer an occasion of visual, emotive and intellectual enrichment.
A space available not only to art professionals but also to neophytes looking for cultural suggestions.
A place which is not conditioned by trends or fashions but which has Art, Thought and Quest as its main values.
The Foundation promotes exhibitions, meetings/symposiums and initiatives of cultural exchange on an international level. It carries out research and study activities within the contemporary artistic scene, collaborating with Museums and Institutions of various kinds.
The Foundation space, ideated by Luciana Matalon, measures seven hundred square meters on two floors and was restructured in accordance with the most advanced construction techniques. Its modern illumination and safety plan make it suited to whatever exhibition demand.

LUCIANA MATALON, painter and sculptor since the Sixties, lives and works in Milan.
She attended Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
The museum zone guarantees a space-time continuity for Luciana Matalon's rich artistic production: painter, sculptress, jewels designer. The Foundation possesses a complete archive which is computerized and that can be freely consulted, documenting fifty years of the artist's work produced in Europe, America and Japan.
