Henry Whysall was born in Antwerp Belgium 1977. In 1992, he moved to Great Britain to ļ¬nish his schooling.
In 1995 , Henry began studies in architecture at Heriot Watt in Edinburgh. He was awarded his degree in 1999.
Moving to London in 2000, Henry began a ļ¬ne art course at Central Saint Martins. He was awarded his degree in 2004.
Since 2004, Henry has been reļ¬ning his painting practice. He now lives and runs his studio in the East End of London.
Henry Whysall has recently started an on going project called āFragmentsā. The project is an open ended series of books made from images and pieces of text collected and collated over the years.
āFragmentsā stands on its own as work but also exists as a document to accompany his painting.
