Asia Fine Art is proud to curate this solo exhibition MOVING FORWARD
by Khin Zaw Latt featuring his new series about people.
Khin Zaw Latt won the 2008 Myanmar contemporary Art contest and is a finalist of the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2009.
At age of 29, the artist has already established a mature painting style reflecting the ordinary people from Myanmar going about their life in a futuristic style. This new crowd series depicts the mixed emotion and feeling of seeing the life of ordinary people as extraordinary. Through the interplay between calm and chaos, something new is discovered in his paintings which give respect and compassion a new meaning.
Exhibition: 7th January – 11th February 2009
Gallery Hours: daily 10:30am to 6.00pm,
Venue: Pacific Place III, No. 1 Queen's Road East, Wanchai
