Bror Hjorths Hus

Bror Hjorths Hus is the artist Bror Hjorth's (1894-1968) former house and studio, where he lived and work the last 25 years of his life. The museum has the largest and most representative collection of his works. A new wing hosts temporary exhibitions, a small café and a gift shop. The museum is located near the city center of Uppsala, Sweden.

Artists Represented

Bror Hjorth is ranked among Sweden's finest 20th-Century artists. He was a modernist with root in folk art. His works, paintings, sculptures, reliefs and drawings, celebrates love, music and life.
