Bucheon Gallery is committed to the exhibition of provocative
contemporary artwork in San Francisco. Programming includes focused
solo shows by emerging and mid-career artists interspersed with
themed group exhibitions.
Bucheon enriches the cultural dialogue of the city by incorporating
artworks from the East Coast and abroad alongside local artists. The
development of individual careers is facilitated through the placement
of work in private collections and in prestigious museum
exhibitions, and Bucheon encourages the education and participation
of collectors through private functions and public openings. Bucheon
anticipates the continued presentation of challenging artwork
reflecting the cultural diversity of cosmopolitan San Francisco.

Bucheon is pleased to announce the first show of 2009, with artists that we've been working with for over a decade like New York painter Eckhard Etzold and SF based artist Lucho Pozo and to introduce new artists that we have recently become acquainted with like Alex Luke, Christina Empedocles and Megan Wolf. There also will be artists like Michael Ferris, Jr., Robert Hardgrave whose work we have admired for a long time. The show will open Friday, January 9, from 6-8pm and run through February 2009.
