Fabian & Claude Walter Galerie counts among the well-established Swiss galleries for contemporary art. Founded in Basel in 1986, the gallery has been located in Zurich since 2002. The art program focuses on the exciting domain encompassing conceptually based figurative and non-figurative art. In its exhibitions, the gallery presents new tendencies in international contemporary art in the media painting, photography, sculpture and video. Up to the present, the gallery has staged over one hundred solo and group exhibitions, frequently accompanied by catalogues and publications.

In June 2009, Fabian & Claude Walter Galerie moved from the Zurich Lowenbrau area to a new gallery space in the trendy district Zurich-Binz. At the new venue, Fabian & Claude Walter Galerie are realising themed shows in co-operation with two other renowned galleries. The g27 building, with its industrial architecture from the 1960s and an exhibition space of over 500 sqm, offers the perfect setting for shows of contemporary art and design.
